Tony Alvarez is a Cuban Master cigar maker. He grew tobacco and hand rolled perfect cigars in Cuba for Monte Cristo, Romeo y Julieta and Cohiba. He then fled Cuba and while in Miami, Florida rolled for Don Tito, La Gloria Cubana and eventually started CAONAO cigars with his partners. Tony knows cigars so he sold his interest in that company and went to Esteli, Nicaragua to open his own small factory. His cigars are all totally made by hand, and many he makes himself. He only uses premium wrappers, binders and fillers. As in the traditional cuban cigar factory, cigars do not leave his factory until he personally inspects them. They are all top premium cigars. That is the only way that Tony knows how to make them.
MILD. Mild with sweet nuts and slight nutmeg, almond and cedar undertones. A light creamy taste.

I really took a flyer on purchasing a bundle of these, and I am hooked. They're outstanding for the money and the smoke. It is very mild, nice aroma and produces a long ash. I have experimented letting them burn out and re-lighting it again to see how it would taste and burn. Just as good as the "big boys" I was given a davidoff priced at $10.50 for my birthday and couldn't smoke it. It would not draw at all. Like sucking wind. So far all the Alvarez's have performed above and beyond the call. Highly recommend this smoke, especially to a new smoker.

This is an excellent cigar. Very mild with an easy draw. I enjoyed it all the way down to the nub. You get a great cigar at a great price. You can bet i will be keeping the humidor full of these.

They draw nice but burn hot and are not as mild as they are advertised. I do not recommend them...just not for me.

I can't believe this. This happens to be one of the finest i have smoked in a very long time. The aroma is most pleasing, both to me and the people around me. Upon opening my humidor my nostrils are filled with this satisfing odor. It will last me, with an even burn, over one and a half hours.

Bought a bundle to try and was very satisfied with the purchase. It has a great taste and draws very well. The only drawback is they don't come individually cellophane wrapped. Can't beat it for the price. I will definitely buy another bundle. Gs-gilberts, il.
